Chapter 3 of the book raises a question of aesthetics in the area of photography. “Deadpan” images may not be dramatical or exaggerated than normally impressed images but it creates a onlooking angle of view of photographer. When applied as illustration of the book, the size and resolution of the images reduces because a book-size print can not afford the sharpness. Therefore, in this chapter, we can no longer see photos of models with exaggerated facial expression and dramatical lighting effect as we saw in chapter 2. In the opposite, “deadpan” photos come directly form the nature.
