The main idea of chapter 2 is “once upon a time ”and it mainly talks about the different stories in art photography. The author focuses on popular representations or art works in contemporary society, which is promote narrative photos as individual images. This photographical style was an inheriting of the 18th century photography and 19th century implied meaning painting of the west. However, it was not a recall of religious movement but a creative style for nowadays photographers to produce narrative works through settings and human gestures. It is a very delicate process for photographer to manage among all elements and environments in order to receive the perfect effect.
